The Metropol Bar in Melbourne's StKilda, and Bellavista at the Marina Cairns are the two venues currently operating in Australia. Owner Lachlan Sleeman boasts over 20 years experience in Five Star Hotels, Resorts, Catering and Event Management companies, as well as having managed a diverse portfolio of some of Melbourne's best restaurants and bars.

About About Lachlan Sleeman, owner
Lachlan Sleeman has enjoyed the entrepreneurial hospitality Industry since 1988. Holding an International Hotel Management degree from Les Roches Swiss Hotel Association school, Lachlan developed a strategically broad range of experiences in hospitality operations and marketing. From managing large-scale international hotels, large catering operations as well as multiple-site business units, he created the Artesian Group in 2002 with the opening of his first venue in Melbourne Australia.Lachlan's company has since designed and operated five venues within Australia - from Melbourne in the south, to Cairns in Tropical North Queensland. The group's focus is on Bars and Eateries where ambience, traditional hospitality and stylish surrounds are balanced with a high quality product. Lachlan believes strongly in promoting from within and developing talent 'inhouse'.
